Kayundra Simpson, Founder of Real Talk Moments With KS
"I’m not here to impress you. I’m here to help you heal.”
My name is Kayundra Simpson, but around here, I go by Ms. Kaye. I don’t believe in pretending to have it all together.
Because I’ve been through too much to water down my truth.
I’m a woman who battles disabilities, Congestive Heart Failure, Epilepsy, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Mental Health Issues, and Chronic Health Issues, just to name a few, one who has attempted Suicide several times, all while showing up for myself when no one else did. I’ve experienced homelessness. I’ve eaten out of trash cans. I’ve smiled through storms that should’ve broken me.
But I’m still here,
not because I’m perfect. But because I refused to let pain have the final say.
Why I Started “Real Talk Moments With KS
This isn’t just a brand. This is my testimony in motion.
I created Real Talk Moments With KS as a safe space for people who are tired of pretending. People who are healing from things they don’t talk about. People who feel overlooked, unseen, or misunderstood — but still want to grow, love, and rise.
Every poem I write, every book I publish, and every coaching session I offer comes from my real-life experiences of survival and resilience. My goal isn’t to impress you. It’s to remind you that you’re not alone.
What I Believe
• God meets you in the mess, not the mask.
• You don’t have to clean up your story to be worthy of healing.
• Real transformation starts with real talk — the kind that hurts, humbles, and heals.
• Your pain has purpose. Your past has value. Your voice has power.
Let’s Heal Out Loud — Together.
Whether you connect with me through a poem, a coaching session, or a Real Talk reflection — just know this:
You’re not crazy. You’re not weak. And you’re not alone.
This space is for the broken, the brave, the believers, the ones still becoming. So come as you are.
Let’s do the hard healing work — together.

My Story
This didn’t come easy... None of it.
I’ve been through hell — not once, but over and over again.
And yet, somehow, by the grace of God… I’m still standing.
I didn’t just wake up one day and decide to create a movement.
This was born out of pain, poverty, loneliness, and deep spiritual warfare.
I’ve lived with mental health, disabilities, suicide attempts, epilepsy, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and chronic illness, and so much more while trying to navigate a world that didn’t make room for me.
I’ve faced eviction, betrayal, loss, and days when I didn’t want to keep going.
I’ve lived in silence.
I’ve cried in the dark.
I’ve watched people I loved turn their backs when I needed them the most.
I’ve had nothing but my voice and my faith to hold on to.
But here’s what I know:
God doesn’t need perfection; he needs your yes.
He used my brokenness to birth something bigger than me.
I turned my trauma into testimony.
My survival became someone else’s strategy. My pain became the platform I now stand to uplift you.
Real Talk Moments with KS was never about fame.
It’s about freedom.
It’s about the woman who’s crying in silence.
The man who’s smiling but dying inside.
The people who are carrying things no one sees — but still show up.
I don’t have a polished story. I have a real one.
And if you’re reading this?
That means you’ve got one too.
So keep going.
Keep healing.
Keep showing up — messy, vulnerable, and real.
Because if God can use me… He can absolutely use you, too.
🖤 This is my story. And I’m still writing it.
